Yep, Lee Vining. It was actually a bit higher by a couple cents on the way down. Figure it's first stop for those off tioga pass. Gardnerville was the best by a long shot. Have some family there, remember bagging ice for the vending box out front of Miller's market with my cousin who ran it and eating basque at the country club.

As Boone Pickins pointed out, "The world wide demand is 88 Million Barrels a Day, and we only produce 85"
It is basic geology. We peaked on Crude production in May 2005 at 88 million barrels (have not exceeded that output,
and it is questionable we can- we will see). Total liquids (biofuels, etc) peaked in July 2006.
There really is no substitute in "alternative energies" available.
Things are getting interesting, and very local waters will become more important in my life, along with bicycles.

Who was your cousin? You related to Shane Miller? Carlos and Jesus sold the Country Club a few years ago and it hasn't been the same since. Best Basque food in the area, though, is served at the JT. Definitely worth the stop next time you're through town. Jeff
